Emergency Medical Technologist/ Paramedic / Advanced Care Paramedic)
This level of training is commonly referred to as Paramedic. They are able to deliver all the skills of the EMT/PCP, and are also trained in advanced airway management, delivery of many advanced life-saving medications, arrhythmia identification, manual defibrillation, and advanced cardiac life support. Paramedics can perform or administer many emergency procedures seen in hospital ER rooms. They are highly specialized in not only emergency care, but in critical care transport and patient assessment.
